Job Summary

Support to the Account Executive for managing and developing the iPhone, iPad and/or Mac sales activity of retail sales channel.  

This position is responsible for achieving a significant portion of Apple’s Retail sales revenue target.

overseeing: sales, planning, reporting, merchandising and operations across a number of partners

Responsible for planning,with strong analytical skills, capable to develop collaborative relationships with partners with influential competencies

 

Requerimientos:

Key Qualifications

    Position requires strong planning, organizational, communication, sales management and leadership skills.
    Technology background a plus. Must be able to manage sales recommendations by giving direction, providing support and making effective business decisions.
    2- 5 years of experience in retail or consumer sales environment
    Fluent in both languages (Spanish and English)

Description


Key Responsibilities:

•Elaboration of bottoms up forecast to the account executives (analytical skills)
•Identifies channel opportunities and bring them to the appropriate groups (training, sales ops, program mgmt. team, staffing, marcom, sales ops, etc)
•Supports the deployment of all channel programs (training, merchandising, Apple staffing, partner staffing, etc.)
•Ensures consistent min weeks-of-supply (WOS) at top POS at all SKUs
•Ensures partner is timely and accurately reporting sales and inventory per POS every week
•Builds strong, influential and collaborative business relationships with the reseller’s store management and sales teams.
•Is aware of competitor's activities, account history, emerging trends and understands how to create and capitalize on opportunities.
•Coordinates Apple support functions to resolve day-to-day trading issues in the account.
•Analyzes competition information, understands its investments, strategies and commercial offers.
•Analyzes information provided by tools (SFF) and processes (mystery shopping), identifies channel gaps and drives fixes accordingly.
•Performs assigned administrative tasks including sales reporting, inventory reporting, maintaining files, information, and forms. Must develop status reports, establish schedules and attend meetings with internal staff. Must analyze and report business results and trends on a weekly or daily basis (as required).

Education

The successful candidate should have a strong sales background including 2-3 years of demonstrable sales management experience or equivalent.

Normally requires a BS/BA or equivalent experience and a consumer sales background including 5+ years of demonstrated retail management experience or equivalent.

Previous experience of working within a matrix organization is advantageous.

Candidates should speak fluent English and the local language Spanish
Additional Requirements

Influencing and Negotiating Skills
Knowledge of retail sales/ channel development will be a plus.
